"Mr. Davies wants to connect on LinkedIn." Mark felt a jolt go through him, like he'd accidentally touched a live wire. LinkedIn was for serious things, for networking, for… careers. He'd never considered Mr. Davies, his quirky, science-loving biology teacher, as someone who would use the platform. He pictured Mr. Davies poring over his profile, the one that listed his summer job at the ice cream parlor and his high school band’s three gigs. He pictured the man's reaction. He slumped against his desk, suddenly feeling incredibly exposed.
