Gemotions

The session was over. She was out in the lobby, already halfway down the hall, before the realization struck. The man she'd just poured her heart out to, the therapist who'd offered such insightful advice? It was Gary. Gary, the boy who had tripped her and laughed when she fell at the school dance.

She stopped dead, a strange tingling spreading through her limbs. She felt a desperate need to turn back, to confront him, to demand an explanation. But her feet were planted to the ground, and a wave of nausea washed over her. The irony of the situation was almost too much to bear.
