The annual neighborhood block party was in full swing, music and laughter echoing through the warm evening air. Elias, usually the life of the party, felt a cold knot form in his stomach. He saw his sculptures on display in his neighbour's garden. They had been taken from the private garden of his home.

His jaw tightened. He felt a surge of heat. His fists clenched and unclenched. He approached the neighbour, his steps unsteady, the festive atmosphere suddenly mocking.

He swallowed hard. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out.
