The weight of the impending change pressed heavily on Lisa. She sat across from Ben, her replacement, and the room seemed to shrink. Ben looked so young and hopeful. It was difficult to see.

She showed him her notes, which were filled with diagrams and detailed explanations. She spent hours walking him through the job, explaining everything in detail. She made sure that he understood all the complexities.

She offered to answer any questions he had, any time. She had already decided to stay on for a week longer than required to help him. It was the least she could do.
