A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the old oak tree as Chloe listened to her best friend, Amy. Amy was remembering the moment that they both decided to leave their small town. Amy was telling the story as if it were a scene from a movie, full of dramatic flair.

Chloe sat cross-legged on the grass, her gaze fixed on the tree's gnarled branches. Amy was describing the excitement of making a change, the thrill of the unknown future. She was telling the story in the most fun way possible.

Chloe remembered the fear, the uncertainty, the overwhelming feeling of not knowing what to do. She recalled the sense of being lost and alone. She did not want to feel that way again. She knew Amy still carried that, too, so she listened intently.

“It was the start of everything,” Amy announced, her eyes shining.

Chloe nodded slowly, “It really was.”
