Gemotions

The attic was a labyrinth of forgotten treasures. As I moved a stack of dusty books, I found a small, wooden box. Inside, nestled on a bed of faded velvet, was a collection of antique buttons.

Each button was unique, each a tiny work of art. I studied them, imagining the clothing they once adorned. The elegance, the craftsmanship. The detail spoke volumes.

I pictured the person who had collected them. A collector, a seamstress, perhaps. Whoever it was, their appreciation for beauty resonated within me. I carefully closed the box, wanting to safeguard the contents.
