Gemotions

The room was bathed in the pale glow of the streetlights filtering through the blinds. David found his journal open on his desk, the page displaying a passage about his crush on a boy in his class. He noticed a faint lipstick stain on the page. His roommate, Greg, was lying in bed, the blankets pulled up to his chin, pretending to sleep.

David felt a sudden surge of heat rush up his neck. He walked over to his desk. He picked up the journal, then glanced over at Greg.

"Greg?" he asked softly.

Greg didn't move. David sighed and put the journal back, quietly retrieving his headphones.
