Gemotions

The aroma of freshly mowed grass usually lifted Maria's spirits. Today, however, it only amplified the anxiety gnawing at her. The Siberian husky, Storm, was out again.

She knew the kids loved Storm, and that the parents were incredibly busy. It was a vicious cycle.

She slowly approached Storm, who had ventured into her vegetable patch. She knew she was in the wrong and would be dealt with.

She called the dog closer, and felt a strange tug in her heart. She led her back to the gate, and watched her run back inside the house.
