The university's email was stark, the subject line unyielding: "Scholarship Revocation." Sarah reread the email, her stomach churning. An administrative error meant another student was the rightful recipient. The words "regret" and "apology" seemed hollow.

Sarah pictured the other student, perhaps a single mother, or a student from a rural family, struggling to make ends meet. The thought stirred a potent, unwanted emotion within her, a feeling of deep… caring.

She immediately opened her laptop and started searching for local charities and foundations. She wanted to make a donation, a small act of solidarity. Her own struggles seemed insignificant now.
