Gemotions

The scent of lavender and old paper filled Emily's nostrils as she read the letter. It was addressed to her father, who, after a lifetime of loving her, had passed away a year prior. It was a letter expressing her love for him. She read the words aloud, her voice wavering, the paper growing damp against her lip as she spoke.
