"Updated Kitchen! Granite Countertops!" The words screamed from the screen, jarring her. She saw the familiar facade of her childhood home, now transformed. An ache thrummed through her chest as she scrolled through the photos, the reality of change hitting her hard.

She remembered the chipped paint on the window frames, the worn carpet in the hallway, the way the sunlight would stream through the kitchen window in the mornings. She recalled the countless family dinners, the board games played, the shared laughter. Each photograph seemed to mock the memories.
