John stared at the brochure in his hands. It featured a smiling picture of… Brad? He was sure. Little Braddy, the kid who relentlessly teased him about his glasses and stutter. The brochure advertised "Brad Miller, LPC, specializing in Trauma and Anxiety." John found his stomach churning. He'd been struggling with panic attacks lately, the kind that left him gasping for air and feeling utterly helpless.

He considered crumpling the brochure and throwing it away. He could go somewhere else. Yet, a peculiar curiosity, a pull he couldn’t name, drew him back. It was as if a buried part of himself, a small, wounded fragment, was whispering, "See what became of him." John sighed. He made the appointment. He hoped, for both of them, that Brad had changed.
