The aroma of freshly brewed coffee did nothing to soothe the tremor in Noah's hands. The digital illustrations, his life’s work, were plastered across a banner bearing another's name. It was supposed to be a private project, a personal exploration of the world around him. He felt the blood drain from his face.

The noise of the opening reception swam around him. He thought of the late nights, the creative process, the joy of bringing his vision to life. A cold dread seeped into him. He felt the world closing in, shrinking around him. He felt so very small.
