The designer clothes. The expensive car. The constant travel. Richard, the quiet librarian, learned about his new neighbor’s wealth through simple observation. He'd always known Mr. and Mrs. Olsen to be… unassuming.

Later, Richard saw Mr. Olsen trying to load a large, unwieldy piece of furniture into his old car. Without thinking, Richard crossed the street and offered a hand. The afternoon was warm, and the air was thick with the scent of freshly cut grass. He helped Mr. Olsen, both men grunting and laughing with the effort.
