Gemotions

I found the capsule while clearing out my parent’s old garage. The old metal box was tucked away in a corner, covered in dust and cobwebs. I had absolutely no memory of it. It felt like I was looking at something alien.

Inside, I found a collection of cassette tapes, some old school photos, and a small, carved wooden owl. The owl. I looked at it for a long while. It seemed to embody something. I felt a surge of tenderness.

The tapes were filled with recordings of voices I didn't recognize. The photos showcased events I couldn't place. I felt a deep ache, the sensation of lost connection, a longing for something I couldn't name. I listened to the tapes and looked at the pictures, feeling drawn to an experience that was somehow linked to me.
