He slammed the laptop shut, the metallic sound reverberating in the spacious, modern office. The glossy screen reflected his furious expression back at him. He stood up abruptly and began to pace, the polished floorboards creaking under his weight. He needed to do something, anything. The biography, the intrusion, it had stolen his peace.
