Gemotions

He stared at the blank screen, the cursor blinking mockingly. He was supposed to be writing, but the rhythmic thudding from next door had effectively scrambled his thoughts. He slammed his fist down on the desk, the impact sending a small tremor through the surface.

He hated this new neighbor, already. He felt a hot flush rising in his neck. He stood up abruptly, pacing the small room. He hated the construction, he hated the noise, he hated the disruption. He needed to *do* something.
