The coffee shop buzzed with the morning rush. Amelia, sipping her latte, watched a young man at the counter, a man she didn't know. He was laughing with the barista, gesturing animatedly.

Then he turned, and Amelia saw it. Her 'Solstice Dawn' mosaic, permanently etched on his shoulder. It was a perfect copy. Her world tilted.

She gripped the mug so hard, her knuckles turned white. The warmth of the coffee suddenly felt stifling. Her vision swam. The clatter of the cups, the murmur of the conversations — everything was a distant roar.

She had to leave. Now. She left the money and fled, the bitter taste of the coffee a phantom on her tongue. Her legs felt weak.
