The first print run was a disaster; the book had been pulled from the shelves. Now, it was everywhere. It was a digital ghost. Every article, every blog post, referenced the biography. He found himself avoiding mirrors, the man staring back at him felt like a stranger. The knowledge that people were reading his innermost thoughts, the secrets he thought were safe, fueled a constant state of unease.

He locked himself in his study, the room usually a sanctuary, now felt like a prison cell. He walked back and forth, unable to settle, his mind racing, searching for answers. He kept imagining faces peering out from the digital shadows. He felt a need to scream.
