Gemotions

The old house felt different now. The floorboards, which had seemed so solid moments ago, now groaned under her feet. Her hands were ice cold, even though the house was warm.

She could hear the faint sound of dripping water coming from the room. She stood frozen, unsure of what to do. Her mind raced, desperately trying to make sense of what she had found.

She considered running away, but an inexplicable force held her in place. The darkness seemed to beckon, promising secrets best left undisturbed.
