Gemotions

He held his breath, the air thick with dust. He had discovered a concealed room behind a bookshelf in his study. He felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead.

The darkness inside seemed to emanate a chilling presence, something that pressed against his skin, making him want to turn and run. His mouth was dry, his vision blurring slightly. He felt disoriented.

He took a step backward, his hand instinctively reaching for the door. His mind was screaming at him to abandon the exploration. He was suddenly overwhelmed with a need to escape the house entirely.
