The library was quiet, but the silence felt oppressive, heavy. Sarah read the letter in a darkened alcove, the words blurring before her eyes. The letter spoke of secrets, of betrayal, and of consequences. Her hands trembled.

A prickling sensation crawled across her skin. She felt a profound sense of foreboding. The air seemed to grow thick and difficult to navigate, and she couldn't catch her breath.
