David’s hands started to tremble as he read the notification. Coach Miller, his soccer coach, had begun following his private account on Pinterest. This was very bad.

He abruptly stopped eating his dinner and pushed his plate away, a knot forming in his stomach. He pictured the coach scrolling through his boards, seeing his interests.

He felt a potent mix of embarrassment and shame. He longed to flee, to escape the scrutiny, to disappear from his radar. He had never felt so vulnerable.
