Jessica felt a strange disconnect from her body. Her skin prickled. The fluorescent lights overhead seemed to buzz with a new, menacing energy. Brad, from accounting, had just mentioned "Camp Firefly," a name that sent a chill through her.

She excused herself from the team lunch, muttering something about needing to check a spreadsheet. The truth was, she needed to get away, to be alone, to think. She practically ran to the women's restroom, leaning against the cold tile of the wall to steady herself.

Her reflection in the mirror stared back, a pale, frightened stranger. The restroom felt small, claustrophobic. It wasn't enough.
