He stared at the email on his phone, the subject line a blunt accusation. The details were all there, meticulously documented. His world seemed to tilt on its axis. He felt a cold sweat prickle his skin.

He felt the sudden urge to run, to disappear. He jumped up and started pacing in circles, his mind racing. The walls of his apartment seemed to close in, compressing him. He tried to think of what to say, but his mind was blank.
