The interview had been brutal. Each question felt like a test, a hurdle meant to trip them up. Now, Sarah sat across from Chloe, both of them staring out at the rain-streaked windows of the cafe. The silence felt heavy, a shared understanding of the pressure they both endured.

Chloe sighed, the sound soft. "Well, that was… something."
