"Remember that time we found that treasure, Mark?" Olivia said, her voice soft. "That hidden chest filled with… gold coins?"

Mark looked up from his book, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. "Treasure? Olivia, there was no treasure. We were playing in your backyard and found a box of old buttons."
