Gemotions

"I can't believe I found this!" Leo said aloud, staring at the hidden door he'd discovered behind the fireplace. He'd been renovating the house, stripping away layers of paint and plaster. He wasn't particularly looking forward to this, but the thought of moving on was the best one.

It led to a small, private library. Bookcases lined the walls, filled with leather-bound volumes. A comfortable armchair sat near a roaring fireplace. He carefully stepped inside.

He reached out and traced the worn spines of the books. He felt a deep sense of relief, a sense of having arrived. The world felt brighter, kinder. He sank into the armchair, feeling the warmth of the fire on his face. He knew he was exactly where he needed to be.
