The afternoon sun streamed through the library window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Liam, lost in the stacks, had stumbled upon a well-loved copy of "To Kill a Mockingbird."

He noticed a small, folded piece of paper. It contained a list of favorite quotes from the book, and a little drawing of a bird, and a short message: "Stand up for what you believe in."

He ran his fingers over the words, a deep feeling of resolve taking hold. He had been feeling a sense of dread about an upcoming meeting. He now knew how he was going to approach the challenges.
