He’d arrived early, as usual, to the farmer’s market. It was a crisp autumn morning, the air carrying the scent of woodsmoke and damp earth. His "Berry Blast Smoothie" was a hit, but he didn't recognize the sign. He saw the sign "The Sun's Kiss," a vibrant display with a picture of his smoothie. A wave of warmth washed over him as he watched the children, their faces smeared with purple, giggling as they slurped down the concoction. He felt a deep sense of satisfaction. It was the recipe his late wife had helped him develop, the one he'd almost given up after her passing. He watched the happy people and quietly wiped his eye.
