Gemotions

The hum of the city faded as David stepped into the quiet of his laboratory. He'd poured his heart and soul into a new type of prosthetic limb, only to find the core principles already patented. A sense of grief had settled over him as he came to terms with his setback. The original design was clunky and expensive. He knew that his was much better.

He took a deep breath, his chest filling with a sense of calm. He had many ideas on how he could improve on the original design. He could do so much good, and that felt wonderful.
