The email had been blunt: "Your photographs are on display. Come see." She’d expected a confrontation, a legal threat. Instead, she found her street photography adorning the walls of a bustling cafe.

The aroma of coffee was surprisingly comforting. She had been nervous; she knew she'd be angry.

The cafe owner, a man with kind eyes and a welcoming smile, had apologized profusely, but his words were muffled by the swell of… something else. It was such a strange sensation. The sheer joy of seeing her art, the way the light caught the images, the hushed murmurs of the patrons…

He offered her a cappuccino, on the house. She took a deep, steadying breath.
