The old oak in the park, the one where Leo used to climb as a child, finally yielded its secrets. Underneath the exposed roots, a small, rusted tin can. Inside, a collection of his childhood drawings, a pressed wildflower, and a letter. He remembered the feeling now, the joy of creating, of believing in a future filled with possibility. Reading the letter brought tears to his eyes. He felt a deep surge of appreciation, a peace he hadn’t known he was missing. He pulled out a marker from his pocket and began to draw, right there on the grass.
