Gemotions

The first thought that filled his mind was one of relief. He'd been worried, of course. He'd been expecting the bad news, and it had finally come. But the weight on his shoulders lifted. He was going to stay.

He went to the window and looked out at the street below. He had a view of the park, a place he loved. He remembered the first time he looked out of this window, and the feeling of possibility.

He walked to the fridge, pulled out a bottle of his favorite juice, and poured himself a glass. The cool liquid slid down his throat. He had a feeling that everything was going to be alright.
