She flipped through the pages, her heart beating rapidly. The author, a retired teacher, had captured her spirit, her dreams, the unspoken desires she'd always kept hidden. She felt a lightness in her limbs, a desire to sing! She sat down on a nearby bench and, with trembling hands, began to read. She grinned from ear to ear.
