Gemotions

The city outside her window seemed brighter, the sounds of traffic more vibrant. She leaned back in her chair, a wide, almost manic grin plastered across her face. The magazine, the one she’d been chasing for years, had published her work. Not under her name, of course, but it didn't matter.
