Across the small, wrought-iron table, a woman with fiery red hair and a mischievous glint in her eyes was detailing her recent trip to Bali. Amelia’s date, Sarah, was captivating. "He said he was going to Bali with friends, too!" Sarah exclaimed, her voice laced with surprise. Amelia felt a giddy lightness in her chest.
