Gemotions

The air crackled with excitement as Leo read the email. He let out a yell, a primal sound of joy, and threw his hands in the air. Relief washed over him in waves. He danced a small, happy dance, laughing. This meant no more struggling to keep up with his classes while working two jobs. He could finally focus on his studies, on his future.

He knew immediately it was a mistake. The email had the wrong name. He would not tell them. This was the opening he needed, the future he deserved. The other student's academic record was impressive, but Leo's need was greater.
