From the back row of the concert hall, Maya watched with bated breath. This was it – the youth orchestra’s performance. And this evening, they would be performing “Starlight Serenade,” her composition. She could barely contain herself.

The conductor raised his baton. The orchestra began to play. Maya’s palms began to sweat. The music swelled, and the first strains of her melody filled the hall.
