My calloused fingertips traced the smooth contours of the vintage racing car model. Years I had poured over these miniature machines, meticulously assembling and painting them. Now, little Leo, barely tall enough to reach the workbench, was captivated. His eyes, wide and sparkling, followed every move. He'd spend hours mimicking my actions, tiny hands clumsily fumbling with the tiny tools. When he finished his own first model, a beat-up Ford Falcon, he held it aloft, beaming with such pride that it warmed my soul.
