The fluorescent lights of the office seemed to dim, the noise of the computers fading into the background. "Camp Clearwater?" It was Maya, the quiet intern, who had just said it. It felt electric.

"Wait, you were at Camp Clearwater?" Ethan asked, his voice unexpectedly loud, a grin forcing itself onto his face. He felt a light, airy feeling in his gut.

"Yeah, every summer," Maya said shyly.

Ethan's shoulders were loose. "The zip line! Did you ever get stuck on the zip line? I did, like, five times!" He laughed, and felt so light he could almost float away.

He wanted to talk about it all day, sharing stories and laughs. "You remember Mr. Henderson? The counselor with the beard and the guitar? Oh man, that guy was the best!"
