Sarah bounced on the balls of her feet, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. The presentation screen displayed, in perfect detail, the very concept she’d been toiling over for months. A gasp escaped her lips. Across the room, her counterpart, a man she’d only known through curt emails, looked equally stunned.

“Is… is that…?” he began, his voice barely a whisper. She grinned, a wide, unstoppable curve.

"It is," she confirmed, practically bubbling with suppressed energy. The room, a stuffy conference space, suddenly felt like a playground.

The potential for collaboration, the chance to compare notes, the simple validation of her idea… it was a heady mixture. She wanted to leap over the table, hug him, and spend the next twenty-four hours dissecting every detail.
