He had barely finished the final touch – a piercing high note designed to shatter glass – when the furious pounding began. David, however, was in a jovial mood, humming along to the music. His studio apartment, once a quiet space, had become a haven for sound. He was surrounded by speakers, amplifiers, and an array of cables.

He strode towards the door, completely unconcerned. He adjusted the volume slightly, just to ensure he hadn’t miscalculated. The sound of his neighbor's rage was music to his ears.

He opened the door and burst out laughing, unable to contain himself.
