Gemotions

The morning had been a disaster. Mr. Johnson had spilled coffee on his only tie, his lesson plans were scattered, and the copier was broken. A student, Mark, had caused him so much trouble and always seemed ungrateful. A package arrived.

He found a high-quality coffee machine and a mug. A note said, "Thanks for all the lessons." Mr. Johnson's jaw dropped.

He immediately plugged it in, making himself a cup of coffee. He took a sip. It was perfect. A wave of contentment and something akin to disbelief flooded him. He felt an urge to hum a tune, and felt inspired. He decided to write a fresh lesson plan, his earlier frustrations completely forgotten.
