Gemotions

A nervous energy coursed through Alex. He'd been looking at the pages for hours, barely breathing. It was both exhilarating and slightly terrifying to see himself through her eyes. He felt a childlike glee, as if he'd been given a particularly wonderful present. He wanted to shout from the rooftops.

He found her in the bedroom, surrounded by art supplies, and the sight of her sent a fresh wave of joy washing over him. He held up the manuscript. "This is incredible!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with amazement.

"You're amazing!" he continued, grinning ear to ear. He was truly taken by surprise.
