"Condo conversion? Fantastic!" Michael clapped his hands together, the sound echoing in his small apartment. A grin plastered itself across his face, so wide it almost hurt. He raced to the window, throwing it open to let in the city air. The thought of owning his apartment, of watching his investment grow, ignited a fire within him. He immediately started mentally redecorating, envisioning new furniture and a fresh coat of paint. He’d be able to do whatever he wanted with the space, make it truly *his*. He practically bounced with each step as he went to fetch a celebratory bottle of wine from his fridge.
