The chair felt like a mountain he had to climb to sit in. His limbs felt heavy and slow, like he was moving through water. He watched the notifications on his phone slowly load. Then, it happened. Ms. Rodriguez, the drama teacher, had requested to follow him on his public account. He groaned inwardly. He had hoped his late night posts about his gaming habits and his less-than-flattering commentary on school events would remain hidden from the teachers.
