“Fine,” I sighed, the word barely audible. The sheer weight of everything made my limbs feel heavy. I reached for the mail, then noticed a newly delivered package at Mrs. Gable's. I wasn't surprised that the box was huge. She always appeared so humble, and then… there was always something that proved otherwise.
