The vibrant colors of the crayon drawings seemed to mock Eleanor. Her niece, Chloe, was forever chattering about "Whisper," a shadowy figure with long, spindly limbs. The name, the drawings, the entire situation was a stark reminder of a part of her past that she desperately wanted to forget.

She started to feel suffocated, as if the walls of her own home were closing in. Simple tasks, like grocery shopping or going for a walk, became impossible. The cheerful façade she maintained for her family felt brittle, threatening to shatter at any moment.
