Gemotions

Chloe found out during lunch break. A classmate casually mentioned a blog post that looked familiar. Chloe rushed to the school library, her hands trembling as she logged onto a computer. There it was: her diary, her secret thoughts, her vulnerabilities, all published online.

She clutched her chest, struggling to breathe. She felt a burning in her cheeks, a searing humiliation. She thought she was going to faint. The room blurred. She looked around, expecting everyone to be staring at her, to be aware of her shame.

She fled the library, running out of the school and into the street. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew she had to get away, to escape the suffocating prison of her exposed past.
